Forinset OÜ ("we", "us", "our") operates ReportGen, an AI-powered document generation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account data: Email address and display name when you register.

Uploaded files: Documents, spreadsheets, images, and other files you upload to generate reports. Files are stored encrypted and automatically deleted according to your plan limits.

Generated reports: PDF documents generated from your files, stored in your account and available for download.

Usage data: API requests, feature usage, report generation history, and error logs.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information.

Payment data: Processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Process your uploaded files to generate AI-powered reports
• Enforce plan limits and auto-delete files per your subscription
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Send transactional communications (billing, account notices)
• Comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

To generate reports, your uploaded file content is sent to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini). Content is used solely to generate your requested document and is not used to train AI models. Please do not upload files containing sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or confidential information unless you are comfortable with this processing.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only as necessary to provide the Service:

• Firebase / Google Cloud: Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, and hosting
• Google Gemini: AI content generation from your uploaded files
• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data Retention

Uploaded files are automatically deleted after a period defined by your plan (2 days for Free, 30 days for Starter and Pro). Generated reports are retained until you delete them or your account is closed. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we may retain minimal data for legal, security, or backup purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. You can delete files and reports directly from the dashboard. To exercise other rights or request account deletion, contact us at contact@forinset.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted file storage, and access controls. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
